Electric fan installed...car overheating now!!! 200

Hey all,
Well got my electric fan conversion done and wow really notice a difference!! However, the car is now overheating even without the AC...what's wrong? I have a 16" Hayden fan with a thermostat that turns the fan on at 185 and off at 160. Should I put the original shroud back on?
Thanks as always,
-Adam
