Motormounts are done.. 200 1984

finally got the time to do my motormounts. all went to plan, but thank god for air ratchets, it would have been very challenging to do without them, for i had very very limited space. Unbolted both brackets and put them together on the bench, and bolted them up. I had went to VPI in houston (www.swedishparts.com) and bought the mounts, a valve cover gasket, intake gasket, and a Mann oilfilter. Changed my oil, and am going to do the valve cover, clean throttle body, and install all new vaccum lines next week. just a few questions i need answred first:
-how do you reccomend cleaning the flame trap? with what solvents? any cautions?
-how do i clean the throttle body?
-any precautions on changing the valve cover gasket?
-would a bad fpr cause bad accelleration past 1/2 throttle? can vaccum leaks also cause this?
-there is a y in the vacccum line coming from the fpr to the throttle body, and one hse is not attached. what are the two hoses on the the throttle body side of the y?

thanks in advance, and happy bricking to all!!
-kyote
