Hi- I just bought a 91 245--the stereo worked well and then suddenly--the display read codeE as if the power supply was cut-off--it wasnt--went to dealer--got the code--was a one onwer car and went to the POs servivcing dealer to get it. Before I got the code from the dealer--I tried a different 4 digit number the Po had written in the manual--thought it might be the radio code--after trying that--display reads EEE and wont let me try the code I got from the dealer. Iv pulled the fuse hoping to get back to sqaure one to try the dealer provided code--but--still reads EEE and wont take any code input. All the while this is going on--the radio plays weekly--no display of what band or station and responds slowly to setting the pre-set stations-- Checked the fuse--is it time for a new radio upgrade--or am I missing something in my attemps to get it working again--thanks for any info
