loss of power steering while driving + overheating 700 1986

Hi,

You guys have helped keep my 86 740ti m46 on the road for the last 5 years, but unfortunately I have another problem. Today, I was driving at 35 mph and lost power steering. Also the engine temperature rose alot and every warning light on the dash came on. I really have no idea where to start and am mystified that all this could happen at once.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
