I have just completed replacing all the brake lines and the brake hoses.
Bleeding has been down 3 times - the honey gold fluid is gone - all is running clear - no air.
When I depress the brake pedal (engine off) the pedal does not feel as if it is coming to a solid "stop."
With the engine running - the pedal sinks further, but stops before it reaches the firewall, however it is very mushy.
The BIG thing - when I press the brake pedal, and observe the fluid reservoir, the rear compartment has fluid rushing up into it - as if "backwashing."
Are the piston o-rings shot???
I was careful to set up a stop block on the pedal while bleeding - so as not to rip out the O-rings......
Is the fluid supposed to wash back up into the reservoir on the push stroke???
Thanks in advance for any help and opinions..
