Power Steering Seal Replacement 200

I have a bad steering fluid leak from the passenger side boot (broken) of my 81 ,240. I am going to try the Lucas power steering sealing fluid as recommended in many threads. But looking at the poorly drawn assembly drawing in the Heyenes book, it looks like the seals are just O-rings and the outer ones might be replaceable with the rack on the car. I would need to remove the tie-rod, ball joint and screw insert. Has anyone ever tried this, or knows the rack well enough to say if this is at all feasable?
