HELP! Rear fold down seat broken. 200 1987

Alright, i have already posted a message about this, and someone else just did, but neither got a response, so i'm trying one last time, because i have faith in you guys. Does anyone know the procedure for fixing a broken seatback release mechanism? if it is irreparable, is there a way to get the seatback down so i can replace the whole thing with a working unit? thanks in advance. -morgan
