Bad vibration / noise / shudder / grind when steering left 700

This one is strange. Any time I make a left turn requiring more than one half turn of the steering wheel (to the LEFT ONLY) there is a loud vibration/grinding/shudder from somewhere on the right side of the car. I used to think it was coming from the right front wheel, so I raised the front of the vehicle, but there is no visible damage. Everything feels tight, and the alignment is right on. There's no noise at all when turning to the right. Has anyone experienced this same problem?
