hello all my name is ronnie and I just was wanting to share my first volvo experience with you all. It was a 1978 244dl turd brown with a body from hell. the interior well you know what to expect, it had 200k miles on it and always dealer maintained until about 180k. I have all the old papers and the original window sticker bill of sale and shipping papers from the original and only previous owner. well the car had the typical bad overdrive on the manual anyway I restored the car with silver base clear and blue 1989 interior except dash and later put in automatic and installed 84 fuel injection and ignition as I pulled engine to roll in new bearings at 220K + and now the car is still rolling at the new odometer reading 308K well yes that is 528K. car is now driven by my inlaws daily. I wouldnt trade it for a new one!
