What all does the ecu control? My car has been stalling totally intermittently and also sometimes goes into this weird surging sequence while idling. Also, every once in a while, the turn signal will blink really fast, not like normal and my temp gauge doesn't move off cold. So, my question is, how much of this could be influenced by a bad ecu. All these problems sort of happened at the same time so I am wondering if they are connected and the ECU seems like a culprit. The wire harness has been replaced and I don't think its an electrical short. So what do you think? ECU? Could the ecu cause all of this? Thanks.
