Today while crawling from under the 245 I got a nice look at the intake of the preheater hose. Now the hose has long been removed(not much of a need for it here in Florida anyway). While staring at an Idea Hit me(which to anyone that knows me , is Rare). I crawled out from under it walked over to my 87 245 parts car, and proceeded to remove the "snorkle" from behind the grill. I stared at it a little while longer, then took it back to my 85 245 , layed back down amd creeped under the bumper to get back at teh preheater hose inlet. I took the 87's snorkle and slid it over the inlet and Viola! Ram Air lol. I tighend it so it faces out under the the front , unnoticeable and out of the way.
Anyone ever tried this? I figure it'll at least force alittle more cool air in(if there is such a thing here).
Not what else can I rig to the 85 from the 87? hmmmmm i wonder how 4 horns would sound...........
