may get a 78 244 what to look for? 200 1978

I have found a 1978 244 for sale and think I may get it. I have seen the car but not yet drivin it. The Haynes manual says that 1976-1982 cars have the CIS system. What little I have read here indicates this is a good system. What should I look for as far as mechanical items? I am familier with the LH setups and currently need a 503 computer for my 83 245.
