Warm Start Problem 140-160 1974

74 164E has hot start problem, no problems at all when cold. It is only after the car runs for a while is parked for a little while and then is started. I have to keep giving it a lot of gas or it will stall out. It was a gradual problem, it would just idle a little rough after a hot start, now it doesn't want to run unless you give it a lot of gas, it will just stall. What are the causes of a warm start problem? Thanks.
