I finally took your advice, replaced the Hall Sensor on my 86 740GLE(stops then starts after 20 minute wait). It worked...for a little while. I let it idle for about fifteen minutes which is an improvement. Then I drove it, took a right turn, still doing good. Took another right turn and it died. But it started right up.
Any other suggestions?
While idling, it seems like it wants to stop almost as if it's waiting for just the right moment. It doesn't really sputter, but the RPM goes down and suddenly back up again.
It's sounds like fuel, huh? Where do I start...FPRegulator, FP, FI.
