I could rig up my non-inductive timing light the same way or at least attach one of those handy tester's to it..
I've got a timing light that you have to phsically clip into the connection between cyl.#1 and it's home on the Dist. cap...a pain in the butt involving little springs, ball point pen parts, etc..... I take it the bulb used must be neon for inductive pickup of the spark to work?
