Air/Fuel Ratio Meter. Mixture leans out with evident detonation. 900

I also posted this on the aftermarket forum. Hopefully I find a taker on one of the two.

Hi folks!.. I have one here for those of you running extra boost with air/fuel ratio meter installed. I'm having a mixture problem when I hammer the accelerator either from a stand still or cruise at any speed. I know the stock fuel injection can only handle 14 psi, i'm running at 13 psi. It appears to me that some how there is a delay to the computer when the fuel injection transitions from closed loop (idle/cruise) to open loop (wide open throttle).
When I hammer the accelerator the engine momentarily leans out (thats when I hear the engine detonate)and then recuperates.Once the the ratio meter shows rich, the car takes off like a bat out of hell. Afterwards wide open throttle shows rich on the meter at all times. I inspected and re-adjusted the
throttle position switch and replaced the fuel filter to no avail. Those of you with similar set up can maybe investigate. Maybe it's common problem.

Any input on this matter is greatly appreciated. By the way the vehicle is a 1993 940 Turbo with the following mods performed.
K&N open air filter
MVP full 3" exhause
MVP throttle body
Magnecor Wires
Turbo XS manual boost controller set at 13 psi.

Thanks....
