Front seat removal from 740 Turbo wagon (1986) 700 1986

I would like to remove (and then reinstall) the front seats of my Volvo wagon so that I can clean and look for some missing items. As a non-techie old mother, I am assuming this can be done? Any advice or instruction on how to accomplish this would be appreciated.
