Greetings:
I have a 1990 760 GLE V-6 with 185,000 miles on it. My passenger side front shock has some play in it. Upon opening the hood I pushed down on the corner end of the car and part of the shock assembly moved (rubber bushing surrounding shock bolt). Also a snapping buckling sound could be heard. When I ride over bumps the wheel on this shock's side causes the wheel to bounce too much. Could i just tighten up the top bolt and solve this and or will a shock replacement needed. The other shock is ok. Would the front springs have to be compressed, prior to front shock removal? Also how difficult a job is it to install rear Novimat shocks on this model? Please all your help would be greatly appreciated!
Best Regards
