Oily mist in engine compartment 700 1991

Have just noticed a fine oily mist covering drivers front side of engine compartment near battery and in front of tower. Seems to be coming from an auxiliary radiator fixed alongside the radiator on the drivers side (nearest to the fender) think it is part of the transmission or turbo cooling system but can't find it in anyd references; Chilton, brickboard, etc. Any ideas?
