740 turbo check engine light with codes 312 and 113 after replacing air hose to turbo 700

Hey
I have a 740 turbo wagon that had the check engine light on, pulling codes
312 (signal missing from knock related fuel mixture) and
113 (broken lead or clogged injector).
The mechanic said the air hose to turbo was cracked so we had to start there. My bill is now $312 and the check engine light is still on and pulling the same codes. He says that the car is running to good for there to be fuel injector problems. The mechanic now wants to charge me hourly to track back on the wiring harness or just to look for problems in general.

Any suggestions on codes 312 and 113 on a car that runs OK?
