what kind of headlights on my 80GT? 200 1980

Hi all-

Investigating a nonop headlight on my 80GT, I found them not to be sealed-beam as I expected. The lens, 7" round, has a "C" label in the center, and a removable (halogen?) bulb marked 45/55, I'd assume this is watts.

What's the deal with these?

Thanks.

Oh, and the nonop headlight turned out to be a dirty connection. Gotta love that.
