The radio works until I back out of the driveway.... 700 1988

and then the fuse blows and that cursed beeping starts. I don't mind not having the radio so much, but I'd like to have the interior lights working at all times. Is this a short? I've read that there is a fuse in the back of the radio that might be blown. BTW, when the radio is working, the LCD does not light up. Any connection to the fuse blowing? Thanks for any response
