I need some help in aiming my headlights. Is there a standard procedure to follow?..... example: so many feet from wall , certain height from floor and distance in between.

I did not realize that the adjustment knobs were so easily accessible and without knowing what they were for at first, I foolishly tried to tighten what I thought was something loose. I now have googly eyed headlamps

There are three adjustment screws for each side. Two for main headlamp and one for the highbeam. One of the lower adjustment screws turns as it should but does not engage to force the bottom of the headlamp in or out, any suggestions.
