'84 240 stalling on acceleration from startup 200 1984

That's it - the 240's stalling whenever I hit the accelerator at startup. Ran fine until parked - now won't get up and go, but does hold idle until I hit the accel. Fuel pump/filter maybe? What's the order of stuff to check? It's in kind of an insecure location, so I'll have to get it out of there quick.
