Can a Volvo 1985 245 windshield be used with the new w/shield trim?

I bought a very-good-condition (no pings, cracks or pits) windshield for $75 from the junkyard. It has some of the pins still attached and the black glue on it, which I will clean off.

Question: Can I use this windshield with the new type of rubber trim used on the 91-93 models?

I'm thinking that I can just buy the trim at the dealer, clean the old glue off the windshield and pay to have it installed.
