Distributor Ignition pick-up troubleshooting 85' 240 200 1985

How does somebody test the Distributor pickup coil in an 85 Volvo 240 with the 10mm shaft(Bosch Distributor). If I remove the ignition module to distributor connector there are 3-contacts. I remember somebody mentioning measuring 600-1k Resistance. Anything >>1k would indicate a failure.

Which contact are these? The Bentley doesn't mention anything about this test
