another front door speaker question 700

Thanks to all who answered my first question about the diameter of the front speakers for a 780 coupe. However, I wasn't smart enough to also ask about the depth. So here goes. What depth speaker will fit? Browsing Crutchfield shows depths of 2 to 2-1/2 inches. Anyone know for sure?
