interior lights 900 1995

Either while visiting the carwash or the mechanic, the interior lights in our '95 960 got "re-adjusted", they no longer come on when I get in the car or remain on for a short period after I get out. The ignition switch used to light up and if I remember correctly all the interior lights came on. All the switches seem to be right. I must be missing something.
Any advice? Thanks
