Alternator Replacement 700

Is it possible to replace the 80 amp stock Delco alternator in my 91 744 with the 100 amp (Bosch?) alternator that I believe came in the turbos. I don't want to have to fabricate mounts for the new alt. If not, can i just go with a high output.high amp alternator?
