Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone can help me... My engine has a chronic tick.. its not very loud, but you can hear it clearly over the engine noise. Its a steady tick, in time with the engine, (about 3-4 ticks per second or thereabouts)

When idling, it ticks,
When accelerating, it ticks,
If you are off the throttle and in 3rd (auto) it ticks
But! If you are off the throttle and in 4th, (below about 2500RPM) its not as noticable!!

I am very lost.. and as the engine revs increase, the tick becomes more rapid.

I assumed it was a loose timing chain or something, but im not sure...
Any help would be awesome, id love to have a non-ticker!
