ignition coil wiring 900 1995

Hi there!

Can someone tell me what damage is inflicted on my vehicle if the two wires of the ignition coil is connected wrongly, ie blue wire to the no 1 terminal and the red/white to the no. 15 terminal. My haynes says the correct sequence should be blue to no. 15 and red/white to no. 1.
I've been driving the car with the blue/1 and red-white/15 sequence for several months now. The car runs okay except for the lumpy idling. But putting it back in the correct sequence did not change anything.
Is any electronic stuff fried with this incorrect wiring?
