schreeching sound when I shift 200 1986

My 86 240 often makes a brief schreeching sound while shifting from 2nd to 3rd and from 3rd to 4th gear. The sound is short and happens just as the clutch engages(no, I am not burning rubber). THe clutch has about 150K on it and has been through both of my kids learning to drive. I can feel no signs of it slipping. Is this a sign of clutch failure soon? Any ideas?
