After filling up on my 88 760t, and driving home (5 blocks) I started to smell gas in the cabin. It got worse shortly after I stopped the car. Going back to get something from the car 30 minutes later, the car really reaked of gas. Strangely, the smell (as I sniffed it out) was strongest at the door jam. Is it possible that filling the tank burst something, like filling a waterballon too full? Why would the smell be strongest after driving (no, I didn't have the vent on or the windows down)? Is this something that could be dangerous (i.e., car explodes when I start it up)?
Thanks for any ideas
