hey everyone,

I really need help on this one... I have a 244glt I've had it for about a year. In that time i've done several repairs including fuel pump clutch fan u joints mainly minor stuff. But there is one thing I can't seem to control and that is the overheating problem. It only happens when driving on an uphill be it even slight when the boost is in the mid to upper yellow. You can watch the temp rise on the gauge. it rises until right before the red and stays there. But turning on the heater has no effect. The heater core is new what a job that was. The clutch fan is new. I pulled the water pump and it looks good no wear on the prop no play on the shaft ect. I'm planning to replace it anyway along with a radiator out om my 245 that I bought last year but i'm beginning to think i'm headed in the wrong direction and maybe I should be looking at the turbo instead. Take offs are slow till the turbo winds but then it seem to have good pick up and passing ability. It does have the rough idle everyone mentions but i've checked all vacuum hoses. I've also checked the air bypass unit. I'm lost... any help would be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance
Jamey
