Coolant on floormats 700 1992

I installed a new Heater water valve, because it had been bypassed by previous owner. I was not sure if this was done as a result of a bad heater core. Everything is working fine, AC, heater , defroster and no mist on windows, but there is a small amount of coolant coming out of the smaller heater vents at my feet on both driver and passenger side. Does this definitely mean I have a small leak in my heater core?
