which years use the same rear axle/differential? 700

I've got a 1985 745t with a leaking rear differential cover, and I'm in the process of replacing it. I was wondering if anyone knows what axles (years) used the same differential or diff. cover? Anyone know which years would be compatible with a 1985?

I'm imagining that it would at least be 85-88 since many of the standard parts on early models are familiar between those years, but I don't really have any idea.
