Can I replace the failed turbo in my 242 with one from a 740?

The turbo on the exhaust manifold is cracked and leaking oil on my non-intercooler 1983 242 turbo B21ft engine-- I got a good used one from a 740 and it looks the same save for the lack of a hole for the oxygen sensor. So I drilled and tapped a hole for it and am ready to put it in. They look the same, but is there any incompatibility I should know about before lowering the heavy thing in there?
