I need a newer Volvo wagon....not a replacement for my 240 but something more reliable that I can take on long trips. Any suggestions? 200

Currently my '85 240 wagon has 181,000 miles, 73,000 since I bought the car in Jan. 2000, and I am reluctant to take it on long trips for fear that something will go wrong out on the road. It has never let me down up to this point and I know that preventive maintenance is the key to prevent breakdowns but there are so many little things that can put a car down with the milage that I have.
I am looking at buying a newer wagon to take on long trips.
I also pull a small utility trailer or a small camper at times.
I prefer a rear wheel drive model
I have only owned two 240's and have no experience with other models.

What is a reliable model that will serve my needs, 740, 940?

Any advice would be appreciated.
