Bad Voltage Stabilizer ? 200 1979

Since I'm having reading problems with my Tem. & gas level gages, I think the voltage stabilizer is at fault . Can I get an aftermarket unit say at a Radio Shack type store and if so what values do I ask for, or do I have to go to the dealer. If not anyone know of a place with a fair price. I looked in the IPD catalog but didn't see one . Thanks for your help
