Back in the driver's seat 200 1989

I've been at college for the past five or so weeks without my favorite Volvo. As yesterday was the first day that Fall Break started for my school, it was also the first time I've been home and had a chance to drive my brick.

The only thing I've drive up at college was a friend's 1998 Honda Accord, and it honestly seemed to me that my Volvo was a bit quicker to respond and go than hers. Maybe it's because I didn't drive one car right after another, but I think the fact that Volvos reach their max torque at lower RPMs may go a long way.

My car also seemed a whole lot more maneuverable than I remembered. I'm guessing it's because I haven't been in any rear-wheel drive cars since I left. I don't want to drive a front-wheel drive car if I can help it.

Anyway, it was just wonderful to be back in the old Swede. You guys have no idea how happy I was to see it again.
