likely culprits for low fuel pressure. 700 1992

Non start issue continues. I know have narrowed it down to number 3 fuel injector not firing. The is also very little fuel in the rail and very little pressure. Ussually when I pull the main fuel line off the rail I have to use a rag over the nut to capture the spurting fuel - now when I pull the rail there is a little trickle. I am going to recheck the fuel pumps via the FAQ if they check out I'll try a new FPR and switch out fuel injectors. Any suggestions welcome!
