Working on a nice '89 to sell, I thought about the deformed (U-shaped) fiber wheel well cover in the trunk. I tried wetting it down for a minute with the garden hose, then parked the front wheel of the car smack on the cover and flattened it against the concrete drive overnight. In the AM it was real flat again, and dry. I am now working on another one to see if I can reproduce the result. It ain't rocket science, but those fiber things get nasty when they warp.
