Hesitates on Acceleration 200 1988

The car is an '88 station wagon with 225,000 miles. Until recently it ran well-- got it tuned up last week. Now, on accelerating it sometimes hesitates, never when it is fully warmed up and not always when it is cold. I know it could be any number of prolems but would aprreciate any advice. Thanks.
