I have been ondering about a 240 rack and pinion unit in my 145. Does anyone have a reference which will show if there is any point of commonality in the 140 & 240 front suspensions? Or, is it completely different in every item?
I am also tiring of wind noise from the front vent windows. I note from a 1969 road test that this was a problem from new, so I doubt new weatherstrip would cure it. I note that the 240 window frames are welded on. this suggests that the basic door may be the same. Does anyone have any knowledge of this?
