who knows of altenate pistons and rods

Hello gang -

I would like to hear from anyone that has discovered alternate pistons that will fit the volvo B20 engines. When I say alternate, I mean pistons originally intended for another car, but will fit our b20s. I dont mind if I need to bore the block up to .080 over.

I would need to know the exact car and engine of the original car they were made for. I have heard of people using others, but the description is usually lacking. For example: "...I have used pistons from older fords..". This isn't helpful...I'm guessing Ford has dozens of old engines.

On the second side of this...I would like to hear from those that have found alternate connecting rods.
