Just finished the rear suspension job on my 86 240 sedan.
TABs,shocks(bilstein econo) and overload springs.
I realize that the springs may be the culprit but my only thought is to somehow lower the rear muffler hanger points to drop an .5" or so.
Only seems to be noisy on bumps which there are a few of here in Minnesota.
The ride improved immensely, a bit stiffer and a bit higher in the rear end(height) but ready for a little towing action and better cornering.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks everyone.
