Windscreens must be removed for rust repair, cut or kick them out? 140-160 1972

I would like to save the glass, I know this is tricky if I can cut front and rear windscreens out it would seem to be easier, the rust has to be addressed ,if there is a non removal option I would be all ears, then I understand it's a matter of replacing clips and trim, thanks to all in advance.
