Rear brake pads wearing faster 200 1993

I have recently noticed that the rear pads on my 240 (90K) are wearing faster than the fronts. Fronts and rears were installed at the same time. Now with 40K on them, the rears are ready for replacement while the front has quite a bit left.
Both front and rear are PBR pads.

Any idea what could cause this? I recently changed my brake lines to the IPD SS, so if the old lines were the cause I've fixed it. Any other things to look out for? Not that I'm complaining about getting 40K on a set of pads.

Thanks,
Ted
