I've been looking for a fairly cheap way to (dramatically) change the look of my brick, and putting clear lenses on seems to be a pretty neat way to do so.
JP STYLING's clear back turn signals (2nd item down) are the only "different" rear lenses I've come across. At E65 a pair (roughly the same USD), that seems like a good deal. Am I missing something? (And these will fit on my car quite easily, correct?)
On the other hand, I've seen Euro front turn signal lenses mentioned in a few places. I want the specific turn signal lenses shown on Dave Shannon's page (because those are the coolest out of what I've seen), but all I've found are what appear to be plain clear front turn signal lenses. Both EuroSport Tuning and Sam Staffanson have them (although I don't want to order from the later--the whole kroner thing and fairly confusing interface discourage me). However, those lenses on the sites from which I can actually order do not look the same. Where are the "other" (half yellow, half clear Euro) lenses?
Has anyone gotten what I'm looking at currently? Is installation easy (I'd presume it's just unscrew a few things, switch, and screw back on)? Will they fit on my 1989 244 GL? The things I've found appear to be quality products and will fit on my car, but I want to make sure.
I suppose the final question is, what's your advice for getting clear/different turn signal lenses?
