Hard start, then runs hot. Starts better warm. 700

I have replaced the battery, alternator, starter after having a similar problem about a year ago.
I used this car once a week for approx 5 miles from April up until a month ago. It's usage is now daily, and up to 200 miles a week.
I've read the FAQ and come up with approx 1/2 dozen or so causes & I'd like to narrow it down.
Could these two problems be related? or just a coincidence?
